CEMETERIES
These pages contain photos of headstones in cemeteries where Heck Family Relatives are known to be buried.  There are many more headstones in these cemeteries.  We included the ones with names that sounded familiar.  They might be connected to Heck family members through birth, marriage or close ties.  

ABNER CEMETERY IN NASON, IL

The Abner Cemetery dates back before Nason was founded.  There is a web site with a complete list of its occupants.  We chose to take our own photos due to copyright ownership.  You may copy ours if you choose but not theirs.  The site for reference is

ST AUGUSTINE CEMETERY
NEAR HECKER, IL

St Austine is the largest cemetery near Hecker, IL.  It dates back to 1824.

ST EHFEST FREEDOM CEMETERY
NEAR HECKER, IL

Stehfest Freedom Cemetery is very small and located on the northwest side of Hecker, IL

ST MICHAELS IN RADOM, IL

St Michaels Cemetery is located south of Radom on the road that passes the church.  It is a well kept cemetery and is fairly large.

CHAPEL HILL CEMETERY IN DU BOIS, IL

The Chapel Hill Cemetery is located on Highway 51 across the road from the Du Bois water tower.  It appears to be religion neutral.  

The Corgan family practiced a protestant religion so some of them can be found here.

KUHN CEMETERY NEAR DU BOIS, IL

The Kuhn Cemetery is abandoned and in very bad shape.  Permission should be obtained from the land owner when going there.  More info is coming later.

ST CHARLES CEMETERY IN DU BOIS, IL

The St. Charles Cemetery is East of town.  It is managed by the St. Charles Catholic Church.

The original Heck pioneers were Catholic so many generations of them can be found here.
